Our Camelot (2015)

"Tired of teaching the same recycled lessons consisting of other people's thoughts, Mr. B conjures his own poetic stance and lectures his class on how to be free thinkers with their own opinions and outlooks."

Our Camelot came to exist during the second year of my degree while discussing the emphasis of the idea behind modern art rather than the effort put into the artwork itself. Codirecting with the beautiful Oliver Pendle, we developed the character Mr. Bettelheim - a secondary school teacher with an overly-exaggerated view of our combined thoughts on art and literature.

Voiced by the spectacular David Cann, the film examines the enforcement of ideas onto a generation of youths less inclined to voice their own opinions on matters concerning the arts. In 2015, the film toured North America with Spike and Mike's Festival of Animation.
